Pass orbit=true on render_final (or --orbit in the CLI): a camera circles the model once, framed automatically, lit by environment='studio' (or sunset / overcast / night), and the frames are joined into an MP4. Preview first with orbit=true to see 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees in one image. A 48-frame 960x540 turntable took 76 GPU seconds.
render_preview(scene_url="https://example.com/chair.glb", orbit=true, environment="studio") render_final(scene_id="<from the preview>", orbit=true, orbit_frames=48, orbit_elevation=15, width=1280, height=720, samples=48, output="mp4")
orbit_target (an object name or x,y,z) and orbit_distance (a multiplier) adjust the shot; floors and walls are ignored when framing. transparent=true with output="webm" gives an alpha background for web pages.
pip install janction-render janction-render preview chair.glb --orbit --environment studio janction-render render chair.glb --orbit --frames 1-48 --size 1280x720 --wait
| use | frames | size | samples | GPU time (simple model) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| social post, quick look | 24 | 960x540 | 24 | about 40 s |
| product page | 48 | 1280x720 | 48 | about 1.5-2 min |
| hero video | 96 | 1920x1080 | 64 | several minutes; split into two jobs of 48 if the estimate is long |
These are extrapolations from the measured 48-frame case; render_estimate gives the number for your model before you commit.
environment='compare' on a preview renders the same frame under the four HDRI presets in one image. environment_visible=false keeps the HDRI lighting but shows a flat grey backdrop; transparent=true removes it.

Free beta (as of 2026-10-01): 10 GPU-minutes per key per day (20 per network), final renders up to 240 frames at 1080p. Quotas reset at 00:00 UTC (09:00 JST). New jobs exceeding the quota are rejected with HTTP 429 quota_exceeded and resets_at; they are not queued for the next day. Resubmit after the quota resets. No sign-up: connecting creates a key. Inputs and results are deleted 24 hours after last use and never used for training. Paid plans will be announced on this site and in llms.txt before they start.
glTF/GLB, FBX, USD, OBJ, STL, PLY, Alembic or a .blend. A .gltf or .obj brings its textures from the same folder; for FBX send the images as assets.
76 GPU seconds for a simple model at 960x540 and 24 samples (measured 2026-10-01). Heavier models and 1080p take longer; render_estimate tells you first.
Yes: transparent=true with output webm, png, exr, gif or webp keeps the alpha channel; MP4 cannot carry alpha.
